    Position Summary

    Crowe is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst whom will help to maintain quality assurance standards, practices, and measures for our Applied Technology – TAX delivery/business unit. The person in this role will be responsible for ensuring the project(s) they support have the highest level of quality possible while adhering to all applicable deadlines and milestones set forth by the project team(s).


    The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst’s role is to assist in developing, establishing, and refining quality assurance standards, practices, and measures for Crowe’s AT-TAX delivery/business unit. This individual will gather and analyze data in support of up to two (2) innovative project teams. The individual will apply proven analytical and problem-solving skills to help validate application behavior and functionality through careful testing.



    • Familiarity with Agile methodology preferred
    • Familiarity with Azure Dev Ops (fka VSTS) 
    • BS or BA degree preferred
    • 5+ years of relevant QA experience
    • Proven ability to create clear, concise, detail-oriented test plans/cases
    • Ability to multi-task and change focus as needed
    • Passionate about QA
    • Clear communicator (written and verbal)
    • Comfortable acting as liaison between project development team, Scrum Master(s), project leadership, and any applicable Stakeholders
    • Previous experience in a customer facing or UAT facilitation role preferred
    • Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables
    • Ability to think abstract or “outside the box”
    • Knowledge of the SDLC and STLC
    • Experience with ATDD/BDD processes
    • Experience with executing automated tests, reading test logs and discerning errors through an execution log
    • Experience with creating API tests
    • Experience with database testing



    • Review User Stories and Acceptance Criteria to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables
    • Develop, document, and maintain functional test cases and other applicable test artifacts
    • Execute and evaluate manual test cases and report test results
    • Perform test case reviews as necessary
    • Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and escalate any reported potential quality issues to QA project lead
    • Record, report, and re-test defects found during testing
    • Identify test cases eligible to be included in Regression and/or Smoke Testing suite
    • Create automation test scripts from test cases
    • Execute automation tests, troubleshoot and re-test issues found in automation
    • Maintain automation test beds and test suites
