    Position Summary

    This resource will play a lead architectural and development role in enhancing and maintainng the Insight service delivery platform utilized by the Audit business unit to deliver their serivices.  This individual should have a passion for software development and innovation and be capable of working with minimal oversight. The following job responsibilities would apply to this position:


    • Work with the Crowe’s Information Services (IS) Service Delivery Platform team to design, build, implement, and support the Insight application which is built on the Microsoft technology stack. The Insight platform utilizes the following technologies: SharePoint 2013, ASP. NET 4.6.1, MVC 5, EntityFramework 6, SQL Server 2014, jQuery and Bootstrap.
    • Lead projects including leading other developers, as well as analysis, design, testing, and deployment plans.
    • Devise logic and technical procedures
    • Perform coding and tests/debugs applications and programs
    • Develop conversion and system implementation plans
    • Prepare and obtain approval of system and programming documentation
    • Design solutions and perform maintenance that is technically efficient, effective, and follows internal and industry standards
    • Develop estimates and complete assignments on time and within budget.
    • Conduct research when necessary, advise on new relevant technology, and evaluate alternative solutions.
    • Troubleshoot applications and systems issues quickly and efficiently.


    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in designing, developing, configuring, and implementing diverse enterprise applications with diverse solutions using the Microsoft Technology Stack and the .Net framework.
    • Minimum of 7 years of experience in ASP.Net development.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience developing applications on the SQL Server platform using T-SQL, stored procedures, and database functions.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to interact effectively with people from many different disciplines.
    • Experience with Microsoft MVC Framework, JavaScript.
    • Solid logic and problem-solving methods.
    • Willing to develop and maintain skill set and product knowledge to maximize value and to deliver quality services to our customers.
    • Professional self-starter; organized and self-directed.
    • Experience working on complex software projects.
    • Estimate an annual average of 5 to 10% overtime. Overtime may be required on occasion in order to meet critical deadlines
    • Estimated Travel – potential of 1 – 2 overnight(s) per month associated with team assignments
    • Legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

    Other Preferred Qualifications:

    • Preferred experience with the SharePoint Client Side Object Model (CSOM), JavaScript Object Model (JSOM) and SharePoint and Office Add-ins.
    • Preferred Experience with Visual Studio Team Foundation Server
    • Preferred Experience with Agile Software Development Methodology
